marion books

graphic design / logo

Marion Street Press hired me to develop a new logo/branding for their book publishing company. I felt an organic and iconic symbol would greatly represent the company. The original idea involved a lamp post from the real Marion street as well as some kind of statue like figure. The end result is what we call a “bugle boy” or “town crier” letting people know about the latest and greatest books from Marion Street Press.
